Adult Group

Our Adult group is a comprehensive program that meets as much as four time a week for 1 ˝ - 2 hours each group.  Another Chance Counseling Center, Inc. has four different adult group times to choose from:  Monday 6pm, Wednesday 6pm, Thursday 10:30am, and Saturday 9am.  All groups are based on the 12-step recovery process, as well as education and relapse prevention.  Our clients get hooked into AA/NA on their first group.  Anger, family issues, and dealing with feelings are a few of the components dealt with in group.  Random drug screens are a vital part of our program as well.

Teen Group (13 - 19)
2 Times a week (2 hours each group)
Multi-Family Group – last Thursday of every month
2 – NA or AA meetings per week
Family participation in either Tough-Love, Al-Anon or Nar-Anon
No Drinking at home or school / No Drugs or alcohol at home

Our Teen Group is a unique opportunity for Teens to recover from substance abuse, meet clean & sober friends and for family members to have a safe place to come to for support.  All parents participate in Multi-Family Group and have an opportunity to share. (Multi-Family Group is at no extra charge to the parents)

Teenagers that are substance abusers face extreme problems of peer pressure in school and in their neighborhoods. We teach them to develop skills to say “NO” and to develop other interests outside of using substances.
